Remote education provision: information for parents
This information is intended to provide clarity and transparency to pupils, parents and carers about what to expect from remote education where national or local restrictions require entire cohorts (or bubbles) at St Peter and St Paul to remain at home.
The remote curriculum: what is taught to pupils at home
During the Coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic, there will be periods when teachers at St Peter and St Paul will need to deliver lessons virtually using a blended approach of live sessions, pre recorded inputs made by class teachers and high quality online resources e.g. Oak National Academy and White Rose Maths.
Our aim is to continue to deliver our St Peter and St Paul curriculum, a curriculum which is systematic, builds on prior learning and provides opportunity for mastery. This means that we may need to teach new content in smaller steps to secure understanding, and create more opportunities for retrieval practice throughout our units.
