Proposed Expansion of St Peter and St Paul C of E Infant School

Our Governing Body have been exploring the feasibility of expanding St Peter and St Paul from a one-form entry infant school to a one-form entry primary school in consultation with Surrey County Council (SCC) and the Diocese of Southwark Board of Education.

The paper below outlines our joint proposal for the expansion and seeks your views on:
1) The phased expansion of St Peter and St Paul CE Infant School from a one form of entry (1FE)
infant school to a one form of entry (1FE) primary school, allowing for a roll of 210 pupils
over time.
2) The proposed change to age range of the school from an infant school for pupils aged 4-7
years (Reception to National Curriculum Year 2) to a primary school for pupils aged 4-11
years (Reception – National Curriculum Year 6).
3) Building work to provide the appropriate accommodation for the additional pupils (the first
Year 3 cohort) from September 2022.
4) The removal of the Year 3 PAN at St Johns CE Primary School, Caterham; reorganising places
and therefore enabling pupils to remain at St Peter and St Paul.
